چکیده

Primary hepatic extranodal marginal zone lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) type lymphoma is very rare disease. We reported two cases of primary hepatic MALT lymphoma associated with chronic inflammatory disorder. One case was a 74-year-old female complicated with asymptomatic primary biliary cirrhosis. Another case was a 73-year-old man presented with a mild hepatitis C. Both biopsy specimens showed diffuse infiltration of small atypical lymphoid cells that were phenotypically CD20+, CD79a+, CD5and CD10-. Patients were received r-THP-COP (rituximab, pirarubicin, cyclophosphamide, vincristine, predonisolone) and achieved complete remission. Primary hepatic MALT lymphoma may be strongly associated with chronic inflammation, especially hepatitis C virus infection. However, the relationship between primary hepatic MALT lymphoma and PBC is still controversial, because the lymphoma complicated with PBC is extremity rare and there is no immunological and genetical study about it. We discuss the pathogenesis and clinical manifestation of this rare disease.

Longlasting Remission of Primary Hepatic Mucosa-associated Lymphoid Tissue (MALT) Lymphoma Achieved by Radiotherapy Alone

Primary hepatic lymphoma is a rare disorder representing less than 1% of all extranodal lymphomas. Histological examination of a primary hepatic lymphoma usually reveals a diffuse large B-cell lymphoma; there have been few reports of primary hepatic mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphomas. A 67-year-old man was being treated for a duodenal ulcer; while receiving therapy for the ulcer...

The management of nongastric MALT lymphomas.

The group of marginal zone B-cell lymphomas (MZL) comprises three different entities, extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (currently called MALT lymphoma), nodal marginal zone B-cell lymphoma (previously known as monocytoid lymphoma), and splenic marginal zone B-cell lymphoma (with or without circulating villous lymphocytes).[1-3] Primary splenic and no...

Primary pulmonary extranodal marginal zone lymphoma/low grade B-cell lymphoma of MALT type combined with well-differentiated adenocarcinoma.

We describe a rare case of extranodal marginal zone/low-grade B-cell lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) combined with areas of well-differentiated adenocarcinoma. In addition, the MALT lymphoma was synchronously systemic, with involvement of the lung, stomach and duodenum.

Primary extranodal marginal zone lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue type with malakoplakia in the urinary bladder: a case report.

Primary malignant lymphoma of the urinary bladder is a rare disease constituting less than 1% of neoplasms of the urinary bladder. The most prevalent histological subtype is extranodal marginal zone lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue type (MALT lymphoma). It is frequently associated with chronic cystitis and predominantly occurs in females. On the other hand, malakoplakia is thought ...

A Case of Synchronous Lung Adenocarcinoma and Extranodal Marginal Zone B-Cell Lymphoma of Mucosa-Associated Lymphoid Tissue (MALT) Type

Extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue type (extranodal MZL) is a distinct subgroup of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Pulmonary extranodal MZL is a rare entity and accounts for less than 0.5% of primary pulmonary malignancies. Only a few cases of simultaneous occurrence of lung cancer and pulmonary extranodal MZL have been reported. A 60-year-old woman was referr...
